William "Billy" Sleet

William "Billy" Sleet, age 49 passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 26, 1965, in Andover, Massachusetts, the son of Robert William Sleet and Jennifer Veronica Sleet Quinn. Billy was a proud member of The Arc of Walton County, and a supporter of United Way at The Arc. He was a gifted public speaker and never knew a stranger. He was an active member of the Bible Believer's Church-pastor Dan Hershey.

He is survived by his sisters, Liz McHenry and Julia Robertson; his brothers Robert and Dana Sleet, and J.J. Westbrook; and his beloved nephews, Jason Robertson and James Robertson and their spouses, Jeremy Magner and spouse and a niece, Shea Robertson.


In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to The Arc of Walton County at P. O. Box 813, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435 Condolences may be shared with the family through The Arc of Walton County. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 10,2014 at The Arc of Walton Training Center.
