WILLIAM 'BILL' GRIGARAUSKAS

Mr. William “Bill” Grigarauskas age 69 of the King Lake community of Walton County passed away at the family residence Tuesday, June 5, 2018 surrounded by his wife and family friends.   He was born November 8, 1948 in Worcester, Massachusetts, the son of William and Mary Root Grigarauskas.    At an early age Bill was raised in  McAuley Nazareth Home for Boys in Leicester, Massachusetts.  The pure ethical and moral values Bill learned from the nuns at an early age became a model for him to live by for the rest of his life.  Like all of us, he faced trials and temptations, sometimes successfully and other times yielding to their lure.  In his final hours, Bill acknowledged Jesus Christ as his only hope for salvation and eternal life, once again falling back on the core values taught him at an early age at Nazareth Home for Boys.  He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Water and Richie and his sisters, Shirley Liseno and husband Barry and Eleanor  Murno and husband Mike

Among survivors are his wife, Kim Grigarauskas, his brother Frank and wife Charlotte of Connecticut, and his true and trusted companions, his Boxer Rocky and his cat Panda Bear.

Memorials may be made in Bill Grigarauskas’ memory to Alaqua Animal Refuge, 914 Whitfield Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced depending on arrival of out of town family and friends.
