Mrs. Vivian Clarice Wilson McCollough age 84 passed away at the family residence early Friday morning, August 21, 2020. She was born January 23, 1936 in DeFuniak Springs, the daughter of Willie Green Wilson and Verle Lenora Rushing Wilson. As a young girl she worked the soda fountain in Service Drug Company and later in life worked at Franklin Ferguson in Florala, Alabama until she married. When she married R W McCollough June 17, 1961 he let her know he would do the working and she would tend the home. She is predeceased by her husband, R W McCollough who died in March of 2010 and her brother, Billie Wilson.
Among surviviors are her daughter, Vanora Spiller, her son, Thomas McCollough, five grandchildren, Candice, Sydney, Ariana, Alexandria and Abbey. Two great grandchildren, Emmett and Cameron also survive.
Floral arrangements are being accepted. A time of visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10 until 11 A.M. at graveside in Sandy Creek Cemetery, 1125 Line Road, Ponce deLeon, Florida 32455 with the funeral beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Mark Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the McCollough Family Plot in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
