Virginia Blevins

Virginia Ann Blevins (Allen) entered eternal rest on October 25, 2024 at HCA Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. 

Virginia was born in Fort Payne, AL September 22, 1950 to the late Clyde W. and Nona Virginia Allen. She met and married her husband of 53 years, the late Leslie E Blevins in Fort Payne, AL and moved to Killeen, TX for Leslie’s military duties before returning to Fort Payne where she and Leslie raised one son. A devoted wife and mother, Virginia filled her days with cub scouts, soccer practice and whatever other shenanigans that boys get into presents. Virginia also worked as a seamstress in the textile industry in Fort Payne where she retired after 34 years. She and Leslie relocated to Defuniak Springs, FL in 2019 to enjoy the much warmer Florida weather and to be closer to their son.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Blevins.

Virginia is survived by her son, Michael Blevins. She is also survived by her last remaining of 3 siblings, sister Donna Arther.
