Biography

Mrs. Sarah Ann Dews Sheets, age 59 passed away late Tuesday night at the home of her son, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 17, 1953 in Sweet Water, Alabama the daughter of Grady Guy Dews and Eunice Clyde Cassidy Dews. Sarah moved with her husband and family to DeFuniak Springs in 1982. She not only maintained a happy home for her family but also was employed with Showell Farms. In her spare time she loved arts and crafts and was very creative. An excellent cook she was known by family and friends for many of their favorite foods. She and most of her family are avid Alabama Football fans. Sarah was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is predeceased by her sister Reba Sullivan.

Among survivors are her husband, Clarence Sheets. Her children Clarence Dewayne Sheets, Jeffery Lynn Sheets and wife Becky, Benjamin Keith Sheets and Christopher Joe Sheets and wife Candi. Her mother Eunice Williams. Her brothers and sisters, Donnie Williams and Rose Jennie Bedwell and DeWayne, Darren Williams and Gina and Paul Williams and Anita. Her grandchildren, Kelby, Chelsae, Camren, Anna-Liece, Raymond, Ashley, Courtney, Katie, Danyelle, Michael, Matthew, Hunter and Cody. Numerous niece and nephews also survive.

Floral arrangements are being accepted. Those asked to serve as pallbearers are Nick Bradley, Billy Bradley, Travis Wright, Bobby Fields, Chad Atchison and K.W. Whiddon. A time of visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2013 from 10Am until 11 AM in Jerry Evans Chapel with the funeral beginning at 11 AM with Reverend Jason Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Sheets Family Plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
