SAMUEL NELSON

Mr. Samuel Nelson, age 59 passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast.  He was born October 30, 1959 in Argyle, Florida, one of six children born to Davis Nelson and Melvainia Stuckey Nelson.   Mr. Nelson was employed for a number of years in the hotel/resort industry in South Walton.  He is predeceased by his parents and his sisters, Ella Louise Cowart and Anne Nelson Dawson.

Among survivors are his daughters, Jasmine Robinson and husband Vincent of Albany, Georgia and Mariah Nelson of Dothan, Alabama.  His brothers, Divard Nelson and wife Ruby, Joe Nelson and wife Diane and Rober Nelson and wife Edye.  His sister, Ethel Tyner and husband James  also survive.

A time of visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2019 from 6 until 8 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel.  Funeral services will be held Saturday,  April 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in St. John AME Church, 307 Knox Hill Road, Ponce deLeon, Florida 32455 with Pastor Devon Grayheart officiating.  Burial will follow in the Nelson Family Plot in Euchee Valley Cemetery.
