Rosemary Armbruster, 75, died peacefully with her family by her side. She lived a wonderful and rewarding life. She was born in St Clair, Pennsylvania to Frank W. Sincoskie and Mary Herchak Sincoskie. She graduated Valedictorian of her graduating class. Rosemary married Edward D. Armbruster who was in the US Air Force. Their three oldest children were born in Anchorage, Alaska. The two youngest were born in Madison, Wisconsin and Ft Walton Beach, Florida. Rosemary and her family lived and vacationed in many different countries. Edward retired in 1970. Rosemary and her husband operated real estate offices in Walton, Okaloosa and Bay counties. The family belonged to St Mary Catholic Church, Our Lady of Victory and presently St Margaret Catholic Church. Rosemary worked with Gene Williams Insurance as a secretary/agent, Armbruster Realty as the bookkeeper and she was also a volunteer Deputy Sheriff in Walton County for many years. She was the past President of Women’s Auxiliary VFW Post 4437 and past President of the Women’s Club and a member of the Garden Club. She also served many years with the Walton County Republican Club. Rosemary’s gentle smile and extended hand brought joy to family and friends. She is predeceased by her son, Edward John Armbruster and her granddaughter Heather Kemp.
Rosemary is survived by her husband Edward and a sister Mary Gilli. She is also survived by a son Michael Armbruster, and daughters Patricia Epperson and husband Gary Epperson, Colleen Armbruster and Catherine Price. She is also survived by six grandchildren Anthony Epperson, Kacey Kemp, Natasha Heckinger, Gabrielle Nelson, Andrea Skarbecki, and Michel Armbruster. Rosemary is also survived by 10 great grandchildren Tyler, Christopher, Jadah, Trenton, Amaris, Colton, Caleb, Natalie, Katrina and Kolby.
Floral arrangements are being accepted. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 6 until 8 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. in Saint Margaret Catholic Church, Highway 331 North, DeFuniak Springs with Reverend John Cayer officiating. Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola at 1:15 P.M.
