Robin Kent Padgett was born February 19, 1962, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to David and Vivian Marie Padgett, and he was proud to call DeFuniak Springs home for all of his life. He passed away on February 7, 2025.
Kent deemed family of the utmost importance, and he was incredibly proud of his. He adored his kids, parents, sister, and nephews and was always eager to share his time with them. But his grandchildren held an extra special place in his heart – his pride in them was unrivalled, and they were such a source of joy to him.
Kent’s hobbies were most enjoyed when surrounded by his family. Spending time with his grandchildren, playing guitar, watching football, especially Alabama and the Miami Dolphins, and listening to loud rock ‘n roll music were some of his favorites. Roll Tide!
Kent is survived his wife, Patricia Lavender Padgett, children Ethan Padgett, Audrey Padgett, and Sawyer Padgett, two grandchildren Abigail and David Carter, a sister, Lisa Padgett Ealum (Max), nephews David Mason and Dusty Batemen, and several cousins, aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his father David Padgett, mother Vivian Padgett, and son Elijah Padgett.
He was a simple man who truly recognized the great value of the little things in life. He will be dearly missed by all.
