Mr. Riley Perdue, age 86 of DeFuniak Springs passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the family residence. He was born November 4, 1931 in Opp, Alabama the son of John Henry Perdue and Keziah Mandy Booth Perdue. After leaving the military he came back to DeFuniak Springs and for a brief time worked with Earl Alford Construction until he was hurt on the job. He later became employed with OWJC where he taught food management and finally retired from a second career. Riley was the “outdoor” type and loved gardening. When indoors he was a fan of The Weather Channel and The Outdoor Channel. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and he loved his church. He is predeceased by his wife, Alice Faye Allen Perdue and his siblings, Neal, Collis, Colvin, Comer, Coy, Bill, Malory, Hank, James, Lindy and Mary.
