Rebecca Lynn Cremer was born February 26, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia to Etta Lucille Ried. She spent all of her life in the southeast – living in Orlando, FL, Phenix City, AL, and DeFuniak Springs, FL. She unexpectedly passed away at her home in DeFuniak Springs on January 28, 2025.
While she lived a full life, the birth of her grandchildren was definitely a highlight Rebecca was most proud of. Her family will cherish the way she always expressed her love for everyone. They will treasure fond memories of times at the beach and times playing bingo. The way she yelled “BINGO” will forever be etched in their memories, and it will put a big smile on their faces every time they remember it.
Rebecca is survived by her children Joshua “Josh” Shaun Smith (Erica) and Kevin Lee Smith, grandchildren Cheyenne Grace Mitchell and MyKala Elizabeth Smith, great grandchild Rebecca Smith, and sisters Vicki Mann and Tammy Gibson (Tony). She also leaves behind a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, Whitney DeBlaze, Brandy Allan, and Missy Townsend.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Etta Lucille Ried, and brother, Russel “Rusty” Dale Arrendale.
Rebecca will not be forgotten as she was an incredibly loving mother, grandmother, and friend who would do anything for anyone.
