PATRICIA LOUISE YELVINGTON

Mrs. Trish Yelvington, age 82 of DeFuniak Springs passed away Thursday morning.  She was born April 22, 1939 in Cheboygan, Michigan the daughter of Millard Alfred Lamothe and Stelea Wanda Ostaszewshi Lamothe.  Trish was employed by Redwing Carrier in South Florida for some thirty years.  She and her husband of thirty eight years moved to DeFuniak eighteen years ago where she enjoyed fishing the lakes and rivers of Walton County.  Trish was Roman Catholic by faith.  Trish and Andy often told each other “if we both make it to Heaven, we’ve already been the closest thing to it by living in DeFuniak Springs”.

Among survivors include her husband Andrew Michael “Andy” Yelvington, her daughter Michelle Young and husband Skip, and sons, Adam and Andy and  daughter Cerina.  Also surviving is her granddaughter, Crystal York and Trish’s dog Cricket.
