Pamela Kay Frazier, age 62, lost her struggle with cancer on June 4, 2015. She was the daughter of Richard Talmadge Frazier and Viona White Frazier of Niceville, Florida. She attended Niceville High School and Florida State University where she graduated from the College of Law in 1986. Pamela practiced law in Tallahassee and Pensacola. She was a partner in the Pensacola law firm, Lozier, Thames and Frazier. Her practice centered around the medical malpractice defense and her work demonstrated honesty, intelligence and integrity. She retired in late 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Michael G. Tanner of Navarre; her sister, Tana Frazier of Niceville; nephews, Dustin Thompson (Amanda) and Matthew Scarborough (Barbara) of Fort Walton Beach; niece Rachel Klein (Bill) of Savannah, Georgia; grand nephews Travis and Brysen; grand niece Layla; sister-in-law Anne Tanner Whitener of Dothan and nephew Eric Michael Posey (Sara) of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pamela loved her niece and nephews as if they were her own children and she never forgot a birthday or special occasion.
The family would like to thank Dr. S. Patel of Woodlands Medical Specialists, the fourth floor staff of Baptist Hospital in Pensacola and Covenant Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during Pamela’s illness.
Those asked to serve as pallbearers are Matt Scarborough, Dustin Thompson, Jason Perez, Mac Ingram, Bill Klein and David Lee. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or to Pancreatic Cancer Network 1050 Connecticut Avenue NW, 10th Floor, Washington DC 20036 . A time of visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with the funeral beginning at 11:00 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Dr. Bobby Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Ingram~Frazier Family Plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
