MARGIE RUTH BROWN

Mrs. Margie Ruth Bryan Brown of Ponce deLeon went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 22, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.  She was 76 years old.  Margie was a dedicated wife of 46 years to the late Lewis Brown.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends.  She was an avid outdoors woman with a love for hunting and fishing.  On any given day she could be found in a tree stand or on a pond bank.  Margie was an active member of Reedy Assembly of God Church where she served on the Ladies Ministry.   She is preceded in death by her  parents, Gaston and Madge Catherine Bryan, her husband and her daughter-in-law Tina Brown.

Among survivors are her children Gwen Zorn and husband Ernie, David Brown and wife Wanda and Terre Brown.  Her grandchildren, Summer Alford and husband Brad, Breezy Benton and husband Taylor, Crete Zorn, Wendy Worley and husband Dustin, Daydra Bruner and husband Clint, August Brown and Ryder Brown,  Chase Brown and wife Brittany, Chad Brown, Chance Brown and Chaden Brown.  Her brothers Travis Bryan and wife Sue, Wayne Bryan and wife Becky and Dennis Bryan.  Her sister Ethelene Bradley and husband Kenneth.  Her sister-in-law Lounette Brown and six great grandchildren also survive.

Flowers are being accepted.  A time of visitation will be  Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 2 until 3 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with the funeral beginning at 3:00 P.M. with Brother Kenneth Bradley and Brother Tim Harris officiating.   Burial will follow in the Brown Family Plot in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
