Mrs. Louise Byram, age 73 former resident of DeFuniak Springs, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the home of her granddaughter in Troy, Alabama. She was born July 14, 1944 in DeFuniak Springs, the daughter of Walter Carl Cosson and Julia Marjorie Anderson Cosson. Mrs. Byram is predeceased by her husband, Donald Wade Byram who passed away in August of 2000.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, DeFuniak Springs Ward, where she was employed for a number of years.
Among survivors are her children, William Byram and wife Mindy, Allan Byram and wife Denise and Michael Byram. Her sisters, Faye Gilbert, Jewell Cosson and Lenora VanDyke and husband Karl. Her brothers, Jeff Cosson and wife Helen, Lewis Maurice Cosson and wife Paula and Billy Joe Cosson and wife Lindi. Her grandchildren, Kayla and husband Caelan, Meagan and husband Dylan, Corey, Rhiannon, Avery and D.J. Four great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Wendell Mitchem delivering the eulogy and Billy Joe Cosson presiding over the dedication.
