Lawrence Streiber

Lawrence Henry Streiber, age 81 of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida passed away at the
family residence Wednesday, October 20, 2010. He was preceded in death by his only true love, Audrey . He was born November 25, 1928 in Bronx, New York, the son of William Henry and Mary Klanasky Streiber. He was a veteran having served his country with the United States Navy, serving during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam Crisis. After nearly 22 years of military service he retired with his family to Memphis, Tennessee where he was Employee # 88 of Federal Express, one of the pioneers of the start up of the company where he served as manager of Aircraft maintenance until his retirement. He moved from Memphis after retirement and resided with his daughter in Santa Rosa Beach since 2006.

Among survivors are his daughter, Bonnie and husband Duane Kotke. His sons Scott and wife Connie and George. His brother Ronald and wife Pat. His grandchildren, Morgan, Josh, Eric, Johnathan, David, Susan and Kim; his great great grandchildren, Hayden, Madison Jersey, Skylar, Haley and Riley.

There will be a gathering at the family home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lawrence Streiber's memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
