Kevin Allan Hartman

Mr. Kevin Allan Hartman, age 57 passed away at the family residence, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 with Mary Carol Joule, her Mother Mary Lydia Bingham, James Robert Bingham and other family members by his side. Kevin and Mary had been together since 1997. He was born June 14, 1957 in Spokane, Washington, the son
of Boyd Arthur and Betty Lee Roning Hartman. Kevin, a master craftsman, owned and operated Hartman Exteriors for many years in Redmond, Washington and worked with Mary Joule building custom homes in Florida,. He was an interior finish carpenter for many South Walton developments including WaterColor and WaterSound. Kevin did exclusive blind installation for Mary and his window business. He loved to play golf and loved his cat Suwanee and dogs Booker and Thomas and enjoyed his home with Mary on the lake. Kevin had many family and friends in Washington State and in Florida.

Among survivors are Mary Carol Joule. His children, Dustin Hartman and wife Krista and Heather Vandergiessen and husband Loren. He is also survived by his parents Boyd and Betty Hartman, three sisters, Sheri Eberl and husband Robert, Kristi Hartman-Stumpf and Denise Wallace and husband Lyle. His grandsons, Hunter, Cole and Jade. Four nephews and three nieces also survive.

Floral arrangements are being accepted or memorials may be made in Kevin Hartman’s memory to First United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 9, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435-0009. A time of visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2015 from 10 until 11 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with the funeral beginning at 11”00 A.M. in the funeral home with Dr. Larry Teasley officiating.
