Mr. Kenneth Weston Warren, age 70 passed away Sunday night in Fort Walton Beach Medical Center after a long illness. He was born September 23, 1950 in Ogden, Utah the son of Weston Melvin Warren and Afton Lafon Gilson Warren. He graduated with Great Falls High School's Class of 1968 in Great Falls, Montana and graduated South Dakota State University School of Pharmacy in Brookings, South Dakota. He met his wife Nancy while in college in Idaho and they were married in 1970. Kenneth loved his profession and worked in retail pharmacies for a number of years before joining MERK-MEDCO, one of the largest mail order pharmaceutical firms in the United States. In 2004 he was transferred to the Tampa Office and he and his wife lived in Apollo Beach, Florida until Kenneth's retirement in 2014 when he and Nancy moved back to her hometown of DeFuniak Springs. Kenneth loved life, his family, his Lord and Savior and was known as a generous, thoughtful man by his family and friends. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen.
Among survivors are his wife, Nancy Lee Goyer Warren. His daughter, Jennifer Munson and husband Gary and his son Carson Warren. His brother, Michael Warren, his sisters, Judy Robinson and husband Harry, Christine Wallander, Sandra Tuttle and husband Ray, Nadine Kunzler and Valarie Warren. His grandchildren, Kalie, Owen and Jack and his brothers-in-law, Joe Goyer and wife Lowana and John Frederick Goyer. Also surviving are three of Kenneth's closest companions, Saffire, Sugar Baby and Royal, the three family dogs.
Floral arrangements are being accepted. A time of visitation will be Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10 until 11 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with the funeral beginning at 11 AM with Brother Alan Wykle officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Family Plot in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends and family may go on line to view obituaries, offer condolences and sign the guest register at jerryevansfuneralhome.com .
