Kay Ward, age 66 of Westville passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 in a Crestview Hospital. She was born August 5, 1944 in Tampa, Florida the daughter of Alfred Bernett Carter and Norma Lucile Davis. She is predeceased by her son Bernie Rickett.
Among survivors are her partner in life, Huey Thompson. Her daughters. Teresa Adkison and fiance’ Nazario Perez; Debbie Rickett; Brenda Crosby. Her son Billy Rickett. Her sister, Ester Thomas and husband Ralph. Her brothers, Al Junior Carter and wife Mia and Edward Carter and wife Helen. Twelve grandchildren and six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Bell officiating assisted by Reverend Jeff Cain.
