John Rafuse, Jr

Mr. John Lewis Rafuse, Jr. age 52 passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010. He was born April 25, 1958 in Panama City the son of John Lewis Rafuse, Sr. and Barbara Russ Rafuse. He was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed being a hard worker and spending time with his family. He married the love of his life, Janelle Swearington in 1977 and they were married 26 wonderful years…….until the Lord called her home in 2004…and praise God they are now together in Heaven. He is also predeceased by his mother , Barbara Jackson and his father, John Rafuse, Sr. and by his brother David Rafuse.

Survivors are his daughter, Melissa Rafuse Willcox and husband Chris. His grandchildren, Cayley Willcox and Clay Willcox. His step father, Charles Jackson of Panama City and his step mother Barbara Rafuse of DeFuniak Springs. His sisters, Dianne Hawkins and husband Buddy, Pat Dennard and husband John, Leta Anderson and Michele Branning and husband Jack. His brothers, Bobby Rafuse, Chris Jackson and wife Angela, Trevor Jackson and wife Tammy and Michael Rafuse and wife Heather and also numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers are being accepted. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Reverend Billy Willcox officiating.
