Jewell Richardson

Jewell Dean Richardson, age 61 of DeFuniak Springs passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was born June 5, 1952 in Florala, Alabama the daughter of James Preston Thompson and Virginia Louise Scott Thompson. She is predeceased by her son, Edward Oneal McCraw.
Among survivors are her daughters, Taelina Gibson and Tracie Richardson. Her sisters, Martha and Latrenda, her brothers, James, Anthony, Ricky and Rodger and her grandchildren, Ashney, Hayden, Amber, Aaron and Ethan.
Floral arrangments are being accepted. The family will receive guest at the funeral home from Noon Friday, October 25, 2013 until 1 P.M. with the funeral beginning at 1 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
