James Orville Bryan

James Orville Bryan passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025 in DeFuniak Springs. He was born April 7, 1943 to James Andrew and Mary Gladys Bryan, and he was proud to call DeFuniak Springs and Glendale home for all his life. Orville attended school at Liberty, Walton High, and George Wallace Technical College. 

Orville is survived by his brother Dewitt Bryan (Sarah), brother-in-law Hank Davis, nephews Jimmy Miller (Renee) and Doug Bryan (Christine), and nieces Kim Rice (Ricky) and LaDawn Marse (Brad). He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys Bryan, brother Olin D. Bryan, sister Hilda Bryan Davis, sister-in-law Joann Bryan, and nephews Frankie Bryan and Gregory Bryan. 

Orville was good to everyone who crossed his path, and he never met a stranger. Like a big kid himself, he always included any young ones that were around in his joking and good times. A patient and caring soul with a great sense of humor, he will always be remembered for the joy and fun that he exuded and shared with all who knew him.
