George Bernard "G. B." Bracewell

Mr. G. B. Bracewell, age 75 passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 24, 2013 in Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1938 in Westville, the son of Curtis Gillis Bracewell and Annie Elizabeth Burdick Bracewell. G.B. attended school in Liberty and Valleyview. He worked in lawncare and landscaping and those who knew him well knew of his love for music and that he was a song writer. G. B. served his country as a member of the National Guard. He is predeceased by his brothers, Lamar, Manuel, Lavon and Floyd.

Among survivors are his brother, Ralph Bracewell. His sisters, Lois Duvall, Evelyn Ezell, Eloise Weeks, Louise Jinright and Elaine Currington. His sisters-in-law Inez Bracewell and Shirley Bracewell and twenty nine nieces and nephews. The family offers their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the caregivers at The Manor at Bluewater Bay for the wonderful and loving care they gave G.B.

Those asked to serve as pallbearers are Willard Beck, Odell Beck, Ray Beck, Kenneth Jinright, Jason Beck and Aaron Bracewell. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 10 until 11 A.M. with the funeral beginning at 11 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Reverend Wilbur Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Limestone Cemetery.
