Frederick "Tiny" Brown

Mr. Frederick (Tiny) Brown, age 84 of DeFuniak Springs went to be with the Lord Monday morning, March 3, 2014. He was born September 15, 1929 in Middlebury, Vermont the son of Edward King Brown and Etta Mae English Brown.
Tiny retired from the United States Air Force. He was a pillar of his community as a longtime member of Southwide Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Tiny was a Master Mason where he was active in all stations of the Masonic Lodge for over twenty three years where he was a member of DeFuniak Lodge # 170. He was also an active member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #115. Most of all, he will be remember as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and friend.
He is predeceased by his parents, his daughters, Karen and Alice, his brother Edward and his sister Nancy.

Among survivors are his wife of sixty-one years, Janet Brown. His children,Freddy Brown and wife Cindy , Richard Brown, Rebecca Jennings; his grandchildren, Shannon, Robert, Jonathan, John Thomas, Karen Elizabeth, Amanda and Amber as well as eleven great grandchildren; his brother-in-law James R. Casey also survives.

Floral arrangements are being accepted or memorials may be made in Tiny Brown's memory to Southwide Baptist Church, Parking For His Glory Fund. A time of visitation will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from Noon until 1P.M. in Southwide Baptist Church with the funeral beginning at 1:00 P,M, in the church with Dr. Roger Richards officiating. Masonic Graveside Services will follow in Darlington United Methodist Church Cemetery.
