Ernestine Braud Donaldson

Mrs. Ernestine Donaldson, age 93 of DeFuniak Springs, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in North Okaloosa Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1919 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Ernest Lindel Braud and Marie Narcissus Gel’e Braud. She is predeceased by her husband, William Trammell Donaldson, her sister, Catherine Dawson, her niece Marie Kae Cunnington and her nephews, Ernest Blevins and Stephen Blevins.
Among survivors are her brother, Al Braud and wife Vera of Fortuna, California. Her nieces, Carol Huntley and husband Al of Long Beach, California, DeAnna Vallee and husband Christopher, Debra Marie Paccella and husband Richard and her nephew Daniel Braud. Locally she is survived by her brother-in-law, Lynn F. Donaldson and wife Toni and Nancy Donaldson. Numerous great nieces and nephews also survive.
A time of visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 9 until 10 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with the funeral beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel with Dr. Larry Teasley officiating. Burial will follow in the Donaldson Family Plot in Center Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.
