Deborah Ann Slay Smith, age 46 of Mossy Head died as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Wednesday, November 3, 2010. She was born May 21, 1964 in DeFuniak Springs the daughter of Odie and Faye Slay. A lifelong resident of the area she graduated from Walton Senior High School with the Class of 1982.
Among survivors are her parents, her son Donovan Smith, her brother, Tobby and wife Tina. Her sister, Wanda Lynn Davis, five nieces and two nephews also survive.
A time of visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6 until 8 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 in Jerry Evans Chapel with Pastor Charles Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Paxton Cemetery.
