Mr. David Edgar Sunday, age 62 of the Moore’s Crossroads Community of Walton County passed away at his residence Tuesday, October 9, 2012. He was born November 28, 1949 in Walton County, the son of Ray and Esther Padgett Sunday. Most will remember Edgar in his long time employment with the City of DeFuniak Springs where he was a heavy equipment operator for nearly thirty years. Edgar could always be relied upon to tackle whatever task came up in the City, whether it was his department’s responsibility or not. He was Baptist by faith and is predeceased by his parents and his wife.
Among survivors are his brother, Billy Ray Sunday. His nieces and nephews, Stephen Sunday, Penny Coffey, Tabitha Forehand and Sandy Manning also survive.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Howell, Tony Sunday, Keith Padgett, James Stroud, Grady Anderson and Joey Clemmons. A time of visitation will be from 9 until 10A.M. Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Jerry Evans Chapel with the funeral beginning at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in Cluster Springs Cemetery.
