Celestine Peggy Anderson

Mrs. Celestine "Peggy" Gipson Anderson, age 65 passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 in Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. She was born November 23, 1945 in DeFuniak Springs the daughter of Johnnie L. Gipson and Eula Catherine Randolph Gipson. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her husband, William Henry "Bill" Anderson, her son Timothy Anderson and her brother Raymond Gipson.

Among survivors are her daughter, Theresa Ann Brown of DeFuniak Springs and her son William Patrick Anderson and wife Veronica stationed with the United States military at Fort Polk, Lousiana. Her mother, Eula Catherine Gipson; her brother Kenneth Hogan and wife Betty. Her sisters-in-law Frances Gipson, Queen Anderson, Jirlean Laird, Shirley Anderson and husband James and Tulcmie Bell. Her brothers-in-law, Rovell Anderson and Ben Anderson. Her grandchildren, Laquitha, Cathrine, Bernila, Roselyn, William, Shelton, Glenn and Lisa. Two great grandchildren also survive.

Floral arrangements are being accepted. A time of visitation will be Friday, April 23, 2010 from 6 until 8 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend Willie Brown presiding and eulogy by Reverend Walter Ales. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
