Mr. Bob Dale Boling, Jr. age 54 of DeFuniak Springs passed away at the family residence in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 2, 2014. He was born March 18, 1960 in Knoxville, Tennessee the son of Bob Dale Boling, Sr. and Yvonne Andre Boling. Bob was a member of Choctawhatchee High School’s Class of 1978. After high school he joined the family outdoor amusement business, a profession he would stay in until his death. He became a professional welder and fabricator, a talent which went hand in hand with the family business. Bob was an avid fisherman and boater and loved saltwater fishing in the Gulf. He owned and operated his own boat which he named “After You”, a name which gives insight to Bob’s humor and personality and his genuine love of people. He was staunch in his support of the GOP and was known by all to be a faithful and loving son, husband, father and friend. He is predeceased by his son Brandon Dale Boling and his father Bob Dale Boling, Sr.
Among survivors are his wife, Katherine E. Boling; his son Blake Dominic Boling, his mother, Yvonne Boling; his sisters, Teresa Moss and husband Gerald and Beverly Benefield and husband Donnie; his mother and father-in-law, Mary and Joseph Bianco, his sisters-in-law, Valerie DiGenova and husband Joseph and June Bettenhauser. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Floral arrangements are being accepted or memorials may be made in Bob Boling’s memory to The Bob Boling Fund, Post Office Box 223, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Tentative arrangements have been set for Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in Showman’s Rest Section of Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 North U.S. Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida with Pastor Rex Henry officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
