Bess H. Evans

Bess Hunt Evans passed away on April 16, 2017 at the age of 65.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Inez Hunt;
brothers, Orion Hunt, Jimmy Hunt. She is survived by her husband,
Rev. Jesse Evans; daughters, Susannah Evans, Cynthia Brown; grandchildren,
Tristan Brown, Hope Evans; brothers, Robert W. Hunt, Monroe Hunt,
Jerry(Helen) Hunt; sister, Margaret Brown; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Hunt;
and special friend, Deanna Y. Hunt.

After her marriage in 1970 she joyfully embraced the role of domestic
engineer, dedicating her life to her family, the United Methodist Church,
United Methodist Women, and the communities where she lived.
She had many hobbies including fishing, boating, snorkeling, shelling,
crafts which included stained glass, photography, and writing.

It was Bess's request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made in her memory
to UMCOR, Post Office Box 10087, New York. NY 10087 or the charity of one's
choice.

Visitation will be at Ensley United Methodist Church, 25 E Johnson Ave.,
Pensacola, FL on Friday, April 28th from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.

Memorial Services will be held at First United Methodist Church of DeFuniak
Springs, FL , Circle Drive, on Saturday, April 29th at 11:00 AM.
