Mr. Al Pryor age 66 of Glendale passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009 in a Crestview
hospital. He was born August 28, 1942 in Darlington the son of Chapman and Nolie Moore Pryor. He was employed by Crestview Aerospace/ L3 Communications for forty three years. Al had a love for people and never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his grandkids. A life member of Glendale Lodge 225 F&AM he served as past worshipful master and had been chaplain for a number of years at the time of his death. He served as Zone One Chariman for perpetual membership; assisted in the Masonic Widow’s Fund and was District Deputy Grand Master’s Committeeman. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Jewel Walker.

Among survivors are his wife of forty six years, Carrie Burgess Pryor. His son Eugene Pryor and wife Mona . His daughter Carol Vines and husband Mark. Four grandchildren Jeffrey Pryor, Shelly Pryor, Jeremy Vines and Becky Vines. One great grandchild, Rylee Grant. His sisters, Mary Emond and Shirley Spears; his brothers Kenneth and John and numerous nieces and nephews .

Floral arrangements are being accepted. A time of visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 6 until 8 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Reverend Herbert Patterson officiating. Masonic graveside services will follow in Limestone Cemetery.
